Game still frozen after Hearty Holidays update

My game is still frozen after loading the Hearty Holidays update. It's been that way since the Hello Japan update ie since 15 September! I was hoping the new update would fix this problem but no. So ...

Absolutely tame here since Sept 15.! This is ridiculous we have to start a new thread because the original thread was marked as solved in the beginning and then ignored! Ea and the Sims Mobile knows this bug is still real! This is so frustrating!

    I just want my game back - I miss all my sim friends. I don't care about compensation or even the events I'm missing.  Please EA, fix this.

      When I just tried to open my game, I was able to tap it twice to reach the screen showing my sims' home. Then I got the message "Webview not working". Could this be the cause of the app crashing all the time? I'm on Android.
