Game still running in background after closing running apps

I'm playing on two android devices and although I close the app by clearing my recent apps, when I switch to my second device, I always get the prompt that the game is open on another device.  I then...

    Hi @missypaul 

    Is this the message you get? I also have the game in two Android devices and get this message. 

    I believe it's normal for this game. Just tap Okay and the game starts by itself.
