Graphics: reduction in quality. More optimization changes?

Has anyone else noticed a reduction in graphics quality during the last 24 hours?

While my interface - such as the Sims' portraits at the bottom of the screen - remains sharp, my house, and the Sims moving around within, have become blurry, pixelated and difficult to focus upon.

It's as if anti-aliasing is no longer being applied and the resolution of the game has decreased.

It's constant throughout my game; on my home lot, all community lots and on friends' lots, too. It's less of a problem when I zoom in on Sims, but even so, they are pixelated and nowhere near as sharp as before.

Until now, the game has looked beautiful; smooth, crisp and high resolution. I'm wondering if the change is due to further optimization tweaks? Has the game been optimized for smaller screens? Is it not possible for different devices to access the servers at resolutions appropriate to their individual capabilities?

It's very difficult to show pictures of the change because my screenshots are too large to upload. When I reduce their size in an editing program, the resampling blurs the sharper image to some degree.

I'm on a large iPad with a retina screen, running ios 10.3.2 , accessing the game via wifi. I've tried clearing caches, force closing the app and hard rebooting my device.

Would appreciate anyone's thoughts 🙂

As a side note, is it just me or has the speed of Sims' actions been increased in the last few hours, too? Though it's mostly fairly subtle, everything seems slightly faster. Sims are positively speedwalking past my house!

Apologies for long post.

really hope that, if it is more optimization, this one will actually improve the item limit.

Thanks for the responses @Phantomlover1717 @BlueWizardRob. I appreciate it.

@BlueWizardRob Laughing here - that's not much comfort to those on larger screens though, is it?! 😉 😄  I do feel your pain; I'm right up against the item limit too, and it's extremely frustrating. But now I can't even see my house properly, let alone what's in it, without it causing eye strain.

    It really is that bad.

Could ultimately be the end of this game for me, as my ancient phone won't run it.  Will monitor and post again.

In cutscenes the graphics are great, sharp, crisp, and clean. In the actual game it’s blurred, fuzzy and jagged and I’m running the game on the iPad Pro 10.5 please add a slider or revert the graphics for tablets to the original. It detracts for me.
