House template - stairs
Hello,
I've bought a preset house on the sims mobile. Once placed on my lot, I wanted to edit a few things (furniture) and add a second floor.
However, wherever I put a stairs in order to enable the second floor, the stairs stays red, as if I didn't have any space to fit it (I do have space, I've checked)
My question is: if we bought a template house, can we add a floor to it ?

That house has only one level. If you already have unlocked the second level, you need to place a room upstairs before you can place the stairs.
If you haven't unlocked the second level, you will need to get a building permit for the second floor.
