How to move in an NPC?

I think it will be at level 8 of an relationship, but I don't know if it's only with a flirting relation ship lol

Yeah, that's weird. At least in the question posed there the person was able to ask and the game said there was no room. I don't even see the option to ask anywhere.

The NPC sim is currently friends with my two active sims...I thought maybe I somehow borked something up with the first sim by being "flirty" at one point, but after almost maxing friendship on the second sim and not using any other interactions, my options are the same. I have a "propose" option under flirty, but nothing about moving in.

Does anyone know if you can move out sims?

So, it seems like there is no way to move in an NPC sim that isn't a romantic partner currently (I hope that changes), so I had one of my sims marry him (Marshall Sun), it then gave me the option to make him playable (which I did) then I guess they will divorce. Weird I have to go that route but I just really wanted to use him as a playable sim. *shrugs*

If they are playable, no....you have to level them to 16 and retire them or another player can ask to move them into their house. If they are not playable but living in your house, you should be able to move them out from the family portrait.

I have a free slot (purchased) for the NPC and he is almost at Level 9. I still can't find that move in option anywhere. I spent time wooing this guy and am going to be so disappointed if it was all a waste of time..

I wasn't able to do it until after they got married. Unless we're all bugged, for whatever reason, it seems like they haven't added the option to move in NPCs unless you marry them first. : /

what if you married them, then divorced them? if divorce is an option in mobile. I haven't married anyone yet. I let my Sim play the field ^^

Figured out how to move sims into household today. Have a Lvl 8+ relationship>open extra slot with sim cash> tap on family portrait> add or create new sim
