Is there a way to disable social features?

I think The Sims Mobile is a really good mobile adaptation of the Sims franchise, but I would prefer to play without the social features of the game. Is there a way to disable the parties or make them so only computer generated NPCs attend? And how do interactions with blue plumbob Sims work, what makes them different from Sims without a plumbob?
