Item limit reached. Please remove some items to make room for more.

I got this message in my mobile sims game. Item limit reached.  Please remove some items to make room for more. How do I remove or delete items from storage? What do I need to do to "improve my lifestyle" or reach "my daily to do list" when I can't remove anything or add anything? I also can't seem to give my playable Sims daughter a hobby, story or a job. I can enlarge my home but otherwise, nothing else is working. I am effectively stuck.  I also can't make my youngest sims kids playable until I either retire a parent or an older sibling. It's frustrating. Frankly, I have no idea what I'm doing! My player ID is 1003097855553.

    It sounds like you save file is acting a bit weird, the item limit is a known thing tho. For not being able to give your Sims daughter a hobby or job I would suggest contacting EA.

    You can do so through The Sims Mobile app. Open the side menu, choose the gear icon, then the button with 'Help'.
    This will open your browser, scroll down until you see 'Contact Us' and choose 'Technical Support'.
