New Update Seems to Have Reset My Cafe Location to Default Appearance

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? No idea, since I don't know if this is universal. Go look at the cafe in a well established test game environment where you know that you have made changes to the cafe location and see if those changes are still showing?
What do you expect to see? The Cafe location in Parkside to be decorated and equipped with all the furniture and items I have bought in-game as decorations or for the barista and secret agent careers.

OK this is a bit of an odd one. I just downloaded the latest update to Sims Mobile via the Apple store, opened the game, and sent one of my sims to the Parkside cafe location to do a quest.

Since the update (and I know it is ONLY since the update, as things were fine this morning before I applied said update!) any changes I have made to the cafe location while I have been playing the game have gone, and it has reverted to the default appearance and furniture.

This means that one of my sims, who is currently in the Secret Agent career (I have completed the career track for this, he is at lvl 10) is unable to start any career quests, as the elevator is no longer in place, and nor are any of the cafe decor or career related (either for the barista or secret agent careers) items I have purchased for simcash or simoleons. They're all *available* in the Furnishing Collection menu, and showing as 'green' not 'blue', which indicates that the game knows I have owned them at some point but they're just...gone. Not in the cafe, and not showing in the Storage section of the Furnishing Collection. Additionally any changes I made to decor colour (I had changed the colour of all the tables in the cafe, for example) have reverted to the default 'pine' look.

As far as I can tell, every other location in the game still has all the furniture and decor changes I have made in place. It's only the cafe that is affected.

*I have restarted the game (and the iPad) but that did not resolve the issue.

I'm having the exact same problem. My Secret Agent career elevator and other items are gone, as well as all the other cafe furniture/decor that I have bought over the years.

I hope this gets resolved quickly, thank you @KingMobUK for reporting this and starting a thread.

Hi, another update is available at least for Android now, so for iOS it should also arrive soon.

Hopefully it’ll fix the Cafe location.

Thanks @Ilois4 for letting us know about the update. I went ahead and downloaded it, but my Secret Agent career stuff hasn't reappeared, nor has my cafe decor changed back to how I had it arranged before.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? If you go to the Parkside, you will immediately see that the cafe is missing all the collections for barista and secret agent.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see all my items for both career collections that I earned and then purchased.

Just came to say the same thing. My cafe is blank all my work collections are gone. I checked the other work collections and I have them all. At the moment, only the cafe items are missing.

Not only has my cafe reset but I'm able to access a debug mode or something, along with getting errors whenever I change locations.
Been unable to play it all day.
No update yet for me on Android.

Having the same issue after 2nd update on Android. The 1st update created the black build box and assert fail error messages being reported, and while the 2nd (latest) update fixed that, it did not fix the Cafe. It has reset to default. My current lvl 9 Secret Agent sim can not go to work. All the career venue rewards are missing, to include the elevator and the decor has been reset. This is my second run through this career, I had everything there. Now poof! Edit to add: of course Barista venue rewards are missing as well. That's a lot of resources for repurchase! Also wish to add that the event pass (Explorer's Kit) I purchased deducted from my account, threw an error and poof! Nothing but a receipt saying I'm out 10 bucks. I filed a separate case ticket on that one, but my advice is to proceed with caution if you purchase in game. I've never had an update go so badly. In any mobile game. I feel traumatized!

Having the same issues plus more. Here is my thread on the failed download, repeat assert failures as well as the cafe returning to default with every secret agent thing missing - even after the 2nd update I did.

It's been a frustrating day without being able to get ahold of EA or the simsmobile. Spent so long looking for an email address to contact but thats apparently as mythical as a unicorn 🙄😤

I'm missing items after the latest update.
The items I have bought at parkside are gone. Both the secret agent and the barista items are gone. They are not in my inventory either. It looks like I never purchased anything in Parkside. What can have happend? I can still buy the items it looks like , but how come all previously purchased items are gone at Parkside?
