Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I lost one my Sims while he was passive. His name is Pablo Antua. He has vanished from the family portait and from the relationships of his family and friends. I found him hanging on Parkside but he is acting like a NPC. His retire button was active so I tried several times, hoping he would retire and appear in my generations but didn work. He gave me a retirement box each time. This stopped once my other Sims started a relationship with him. Is there any chance of having him back? Thanks!
What do you expect to see? My Sim back, at least as retired in the generations.

It just happened to me too. Only this time it was my original character. All relationships were removed as if she never existed, same with the family picture. It's the second time it has happened to me but fortunately I was able to find them both at Parkside. I honestly hope this doesn't keep happening. I quick scroll through the forums show that this has been happening to others too.
@SalixCat thank you!, yes I knew that. But all my Sims are married and I should create a new one to marry him. Honestly, I am too affraid of losing another one so I wont use the passive function again until it is fixed. Marriage wont make his stories or family relations come back anyway...
