Do the ads in other locations play for you?
No they don't, but the normal ads do give the rewards even when they don't play but the one's during STS and other events/ gigs don't.
I am having the same issue, and like the author of this thread, it started a few weeks ago during the last Sweet Treat Challenge, but it seemed to straighten itself out midway through.. This time around, it's back to not working at all. You click the icon and it disappears for a few seconds, then comes back as if it was never clicked. I paid for the sweet treat ticket, not sure if that isn't causing the issue. I live in USA and my phone is Samsung Galaxy Note 9.

Could you please take a look at mine as well, This new challenge, I am having the same issue as the last quest.
1st time I played today on the new quest, I couldn't get the watch video prize to trip, I kept pressing it and it started working. I went back an hour or so later and tinkering with the button no longer did the trick.
My info is,

for me I can't get the ads to play anywhere. I was only able to watch 1 ad for the first time and then the next time it didn't show the ad but still have the rewards. But then the next day it I try to play an ad and it just acts as if I clicked the cancel button. It's been doing it for the past 3 days.
