Sadly ☹️ I am done with the event and I watched gift after gift pass by. Mine never did get fixed other then a few hand outs here and there, Very Few.
I do feel a bit jipped as I paid for the ticket., I did what was asked and gave my info and player ID, Was I suppose to be contacted, or was the bug just supposed to be fixed.. I am not understanding this process, Was I suppose to do more??
I sure do hope that the next event, this is not an issue for me or for others as well. 🤨
I understand how frustrating that was. Ads are the only way to get to higher rounds in STS without spending loads of simcash and it's the only way to earn cupcakes . Its been more than half a month since I've created this bug report and still there is no response.
I even contacted EA ,they just sent me an email stating how the ads work ,tats all,not even a recommendation on what I can I do .
Since yesterday the ads are not playing at all . With the new STS starting today I don't know how I'll be able to finish it.
This was an issue I've had since March 2020, it's now July. What I noticed is that after playing for a certain length of time the ads stop playing until the game period is no longer expired. The times on the events in the STS can be bought to open them or they stay on a clock. Once the clock is refreshed you can compete with ads again. Ads have never played during an entire day of playing STS, the ads only play at 12 hour intervals or 8 hour intervals. In my experience.
Same issue. Ads don't play and the icon disappears and a little later appears as if it wasn't clicked. I figured that while it's gone clicking on the knife stand will prompt it too I'm but clicking it just closes the prompt and does nothing. The bug has spilled to other ad prompts, but it doesn't block them 100% of the time.
