This has been happening to me too. It’s so frustrating and I can’t get anyone at EA to help. It’s a glitch in their game and they need to fix it. I regret spending real money on a game I’m about to stop playing. So tired of starting at level 1 relationships and then they are missing suddenly.
- SalixCat6 years agoHero+@camerathou This is a normal issue if you keep Sims active for a long time. You keep adding contacts, but there is a limited number of contacts that a Sims can have. I really doubt the game is design to keep Sims active several months or years. As for the number of contacts a Sim can have, read post #45.
Post #43 has an alternative solution in case your Sims keep losing contacts.- 6 years ago
Well this is a new sim. I’ve only had her two weeks. But I’ll check out the posts you recommended

@SalixCat @camerathou Mine also was losing Sims after about a week. The "months or years" is how long EA has ignored this bug, not how long it takes to replicate. The "extended family" was my two roommate Sims and one spouse. No children at all. So that "alternative solution" is BS.
Really how hard would it be to put a "max 12 contacts" line on the contacts page and then not allow new contacts until old ones die off? That would be so much better than unexpectedly losing random relationships that you've invested time into.
