How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start relationships with other players’ sims. Do this with multiple sims. At first, you’ll see the new relationships in your contacts. In a day or two, the relationships will disappear from contacts.
What do you expect to see? When I start relationships with other sims (whether they’re other players’ sims or NPCs), I expect to see those relationships in my contacts permanently (unless I have the option to manage my contacts and choose to archive some relationships).

Additional feedback I lost over 20 new relationships in a couple days (I wanted befriend sims from my friends list so I can see them in public areas). The relationships I lost were levels 1-3, didn’t want to advance more since they disappear anyway. Please fix this bug. Thank you.

The game team haven't got a resolution for this issue but are actively investigating it. Given that this thread is from 2018, they said they'd really appreciate it if any player experiencing this issue could create a ticket from their in-game account so the team can investigate some of the newer cases to make sure their information is up to date.
I’m still experiencing this issue. How do I create a ticket from my in game account? The game is full of bugs, I wish the devs made it easier to report them
