Yes, i was at that party and active in that chat. No, the chat was not excessive. The chat feature that was being used as per its intended purpose; by a group of people at the same party conversing with each other. Perhaps the issue lies within your devices capability to handle this games additional features. I left to bring in each sim and the party only crashed when i brought in my fourth sim. This is apparently an issue i am not alone in and completely unrelated to the chat feature.
To prevent you from having any further issues of this manner, perhaps you should avoid attending any parties that are posted on the party schedule thread. Those parties are very popular with the more social players who enjoy conversing in real time in the game, so the chat feature will be used as per it’s intention. They also fill quickly due to their popularity and therefore level out just as fast. Hopefully by doing as i’ve suggested when selecting which party to attend, it will resolve this issue for you in future 🙂
@Finealta I'm going to replly and end it here. I have been helping Guru with why you in the forum (not my) party is crashing. I have been speaking to EA since last week. The chat was excessive, The chat continues across my whole phone when I a had chat closed. My device is more than capable of this game. Parties i throw do not crash. I Lets just say I know a few things about tech. I ask a question to Vintage, . If you don't have the problem I was asking than there was no need to respond. in the first place.

@Fuzzernutter My response was apt as i have also experienced the heat issue and even though it was not in this particular game, as i do not play it on a phone, I was offering advice as to why you may be experiencing this heat, as for me, my phone only does it during continuous use, especially when it has a cover on it. I also responded as you were specifically mentioning issues with parties and chat that i have been a part of and experiencing as well. I’m unsure why you are being so curt in response to me doing so.
I, too, get the chat appearing across my screen with every comment. I also get a pop up for every player who enters the party (whether they comment or not), so my input was relevant to your post in that case also. I always assumed this was part of the games chat feature to alert the party holder of who has joined their party and also of any comments that appear in their chat room in case they want to respond to them. This happens in every party i attend, so i was trying to explain that it is not just an issue that is only experienced with parties held by active forum members.
This particular party crashing bug only began for me after the last major Update for the previous event where the bubble blower etc were available. I dont believe it was after the ASOS event, but i may be wrong as i know there were a number of issues after that event also. Previously i had active chat, full parties that levelled up and no crashing, so my experience was not as you were describing it and as someone who has actually experienced this particular bug, it seemed more that apt for me to respond to. Everyone on here who has an issue in the game, is looking for answers and contacting either EA or reporting the bug to make everyone aware. I’m unsure why you are addressing an issue you are not experiencing and therefore can not be aware of everything going on on each particular users side of the game, but that is your prerogative. I will assume you are trying to assist, however your choice of words in doing so, on your many posts across several different threads and including this direct one to me, have offended many regular forum members.
We are a friendly community and always trying to help anyone we can, where we can, but you are making it feel as though we are being targeted for creating this issue ourselves by using a feature the game provides. That’s not helpful. If you dont experience the same issue then perhaps it was you who shouldn’t have responded to it in the first place, not I.
