Mine is doing the same thing regarding 2 different sims I have. I cannot promote either if them and it says they are in an event but they are not, they are passive, I cannot interact with them either and this happened yesterday. My eco shop is working fine, idk what to do either, I have tried to get help as well ajd was told to search the forum's but they have nothing. I really would like to fix this. The other sim I just removed, but this one I can't even do that, there is no option to remove her.
Since I am not getting much help from EA customer service since Sunday I went a head about a half hour ago and just removed that passive stuck sim from my household. I got my eco rewards from Sunday and everything is cool again except I lost my sim so I'm having to try and get her back in the family. Have you tried to click on your sim from the family portrait and tried to remove or just tried to promote from your empty sim spot? Good luck to you and I hope your sims can become unstuck!
@LucidAnarch There is nothing EA Help can do about any of these issues as both are bugs.
Glad you found a solution even if you now will have to find your Sim and get her back to the household.
