Questions about my Sims romantic partner?

So, one of my Sims, son, is in love with Mila Kunis. She has a blue plumbob. When he calls her over to hangout she goes missing through some of it. When they get into the hot tub, she has no swimsuit. Is she just not interested in him? I feel I need to find him someone else.
