There is an item limit. It hits all of us and almost every time they "optimize" the game, the item limit gets smaller. I've had to remove over 60 items from my home since the first time I encountered the item limit. I don't even try to finish the daily to-do list anymore because if I take something out so that I can buy another item for my house, most of the time it won't let me buy something new and won't let me put back the thing I stored. There are many of us that are very frustrated with the item limit.
