Re: [Open] - Party ends shortly after starting no error

Okay 🙂 I got the information from my friends~ 

Player: tkzsw 
iPhone 6 - iOS - 12.4.7
She started the party yesterday (thursday) at 7 pm. She relogged at 8 pm and the app began to crash. She couldn't get in the game till 9:30 pm. Switching to LTE didn't work. 
After this everything wents fine and the app kept working. 
At 4:45 am in the morning the party was already finished, although it should be opened till 7 am. 

Player Alicia: 
iPhone Xr - iOS - 13.5.1
for parties she always use wifi. 
She startet her party today (thuesday) at 7:30 pm. At 8:30 the game started to crash and closed the app like tkzsw. Also the ballons poped up. 

Player Lara: 
iPad 7th gen - iOS - 13.5.1 - always wifi 
Laras party started to crash after she tried to leave a friends (Mandy) party at 8:30 pm today. She started the party at 11 am and disappeared around 10 pm without rewards/ballons. 

Side note: Lara and Alicia went both to the same party today at 20:30. Both get the trouble after leaving the same party. But mandy as host from the party doesn't has any trouble. 

Player Britti: 
iPad 7th gen - iOS - 13.5.1 - wifi 
She started her party wednesday at 7 pm. After a few minutes she changed the location with her sims in the game. It sounds the same like Alicia; the game crashed and the app closed. The party was finished after ~20 minutes.
Interessting point: She's the only one with the network error I wrote before. 🙂 All the others problems are like from the others.

Party Start: Thursday 7:30 pm. She wrote the app started to crash around 8:15 pm. The app closed again and again. She didn't check when it worked again. She just saw the rewards didn't pop up tomorrow morning.

I hosted my weekly party which quickly reached level 10. I logged back in a few hours later and my party had disappeared and there were no rewards. I would like my party back and my guests to receive their rewards

Did you get your host prize later?

I hosted a party yesterday and it got lvl10 in 4 hours or so, nothing mysterious was going on with the party or game. No connection issues or error messages.

Around 4,5 hours from the start I checked when the llama zoom is coming and the party was ok.

So tried to get back to game 20 minutes later to start LZ and the game crashed immediately I got in. After 3 crashes I restarted the device and got back into the game but the party had disappeared. No end message, balloons, prizes or anything.

15 minutes later got a message from friend in insta who was trying to get in to my party saying that her game crashed immediately as she was trying to enter my party. She said that same had happened to her the other day with some other player’s party.

I continued with the LZ tasks and 1,5h after the party disappeared, I was getting back to game and I saw momentarily that my party was still running, the party level was shown on top of the screen, but in 5 seconds the game just crashed and after another crash I restarted my device and the party wasn’t visible when I got back.

So I was a bit hopeful to get the prizes when the party was supposed to end.. but I didn’t get any party ending message after 12 hours of starting the party and no prizes.

Played normally today and 16 hours after the party disappeared I noticed my free sim had that purple party field (with the star progress empty) and the finished party was visible and prizes collectable in the menu, pic attached.

Hoping there will be fix to the parties soon, since there seems to be more of this glitching now after the update.

Playing with ipad 6th gen, OS 13.5.1, wifi

What an emotional roller coaster this was, since this kind of incident makes me worried of losing my sims & items. 🤯😬 

@SalixCat I didn’t get any error messages. I’ve asked the few guests that I have in my insta if they got the prizes, no answers yet. 

@SalixCat yes, the other report seems the same kind of incident. 

Got some answers from my guests and they got prizes and no errors for those guests

Update 2: Restarted phone and Wi-Fi and managed to get in but I’m scared to go home.

I am now unable to get in to the game. I sent one of my sims to do the Home Sweet Home event and the game won’t load since then.

Hi I had similar issue. I began hosting a party around 8am and when I switched to another location and tried to go back to my main house location the game kept crashing. I did not get an error message. I tried reinstalling, force closing and reopening, switching back and forth from wifi to cellular, clearing my cache and a number of other troubleshooting tips. I was not able to get back into the game until about an hour after party ended. When I was back in it showed the party ended but no stars as if I did not participate when I had. I’m not sure what my party guests saw.

I use an iPhone 11 Pro Max as my primary device but tried it out on my old iPad Pro and iPhone 8 and had the same issue.
