@Matrix-Kat not yet no, we had a hotfix for the land expansion bug. And something with parties. 

I am having the same issues with missing quest content. I have the quests but not items in the catalog to purchase.  I'm also still waiting on the missing land expansion information. EA support deemed my case as resolved but I never received information on my missing land expansions or received compensation for my 12 lost Llama Zoom tokens used to purchase the plots of missing land. 

This is still happening to me too, for the dance instructor career.  I did try to do the limited time quest to earn it several months ago, but did not finish.  I have also recently been to a party whose host had dance items out.

I just stopped going to parties at this point. As a new player, I find that almost everyone I visit has something that I don’t. Until this is fixed, going to parties means more potential issues with my quest log and Lama Zooms. Disappointing.

Hey i got the same issue as well, but after the update in 28th nov (idk if the update is only on my country or not) i suddenly have the option to buy the dance career heirloom on heirloom shop for 150 simcash. That solved the problem for me.
