I've just recently decided to start over in my 8th generation with a Norse theme. Kinda embarrassing, but I love the show Vikings although except for the surname not all of the first names come from the show.

Some of mine are Magnus, Björn, Rúna, Baldr, Freya, Sagá, Lagertha  with the surname of Lothbrok.

IRL I'm a family history/genealogy fan so I chose a set of core names to be family names for my sim family and I usually use those, sometimes with slight variations.

That’s a cool idea! I love that show myself! I may copy you for one of my future generations haha

I’m doing alphabetical generations. First gen’s names starts with A, second with B, etc.  I’m up to R. 

You’re all so clever with your naming!  I love it!  I chose my surname from the first random one that i got with my very first sim, then every given name my sims have are all names i just like in general.  I’m running out of them, so i google those popular baby names sites for new ones and have chosen a couple from friends kids lol. Not very inventive over here!

I only posted that yesterday and in the same day Willow Grace had a child with Makoto, so for each of their children, i’m Choosing modern Japanese names to combine both parents nationalities.  I kinda looked at it as a situation mixed raced parents probably do irl!
