Screen frozen & can’t access Vlogger challenge

Hi. Ever since the Vlogger challenge popped up I’ve not been able to access my game. I can’t report it because I can’t find out what my user ID is to ask for better help. The game won’t go past that screen for three days now. I’ve redownloaded it seven times, turned off my phone, and did all the stuff said to do in an article I read. ANY help would be great. I really really want the Vlogger challenge, although I’m sure it’s over due to the fact I started it days ago and the screen has been acting up during the challenge time ☹️ The picture below is all that comes up when I start the game

    I’m in the same boat but got to the last task which would have finished just a few hours before the event ended. I’ve invested a lot of time and Simoleons to speed events up so I could finish so it’s pretty disappointing. I’ve sent in a report via this site but I couldn’t get my ID either. Now I know to write it somewhere...if and when I get back into the game!

    I don't blame you, I'm level 40, all my hobbies, jobs and relationship stories are done (was finishing up the last 3 when my game broke) so far I haven't been able to finish half the events because they took to long to do or the items were randomly drawn and my luck wasn't good enough to get any of the good items like the hot tub. My desire to play the game anymore is fading fast.

    I'm done. 

    I updated the app and still the same.

  • I had the same problem. Eventually I had to call them (german support team) and after talking to them for an hour or so they were able to solve the problem.

    If you saved your game in a cloud they should be able to get your game progress back.

    Everyone, my reply works for all of you. Please contact EA about this issue:

    You can do so through The Sims Mobile app. Open the side menu, choose the gear icon, then the button with 'Help'.
    This will open your browser, scroll down until you see 'Contact Us' and choose 'Technical Support'.

    I was able to get in after the update and have contacted them. It’s an issue they’re aware of and are working on. Thanks so much Phantomlover1717 - and I did realise after the fact that you’d said I could report it regardless of getting in the game or not. 😝☺️

    I hope everyone was able to complete the event. I understand how frustrated everyone is because it happened to me too.

    After tasks resetting and freezing, I should have completed the event but couldn't, even after many cupcakes to save time on the tasks I already played.

    I reported the bug but was told I would receive no reply but it would be added to the list. I still had tasks resetting but they have fixed now and the event is long over.

    Feeling very frustrated, I'm almost level 40 and was looking forward to new content. It's just another event unfinished despite every effort playing, I don't want to have to pay to unlock what I should have unlocked with my time and effort played. ☹️
