My little princess had her first birthday today and left the bassinet. Charlotte Augusta Knight has turned into a toddler. Her first thought was typical of a toddler. Since it is Father's Day, Alice took some extra time with Charlie and helped her earn her third star in the Good Upbringing trait. (Usually Alex handles most of the child care duties. It helps him decompress after shifts at the hospital.)
We are also pleased with the extra help and attention that our friends are providing to Charlie. Greta Garbo and Baldr have not left our home since before Charlie was born. The family sincerely appreciates the help and support.
We also would like to express our thanks to Lucille Ball, who has been on security detail outside our house for the last two days.

It appears Charlotte is sharing all the privileges of her birthright AND her namesake, except in contrast, she is enjoying the very, very necessary inclusion of love—of which sadly, the IRL Princess Charlotte seemed to have precious little. Charlie is a lucky little girl to have been born into a house that is loving, fashionable, and fortified!!!

Kind Magnus just had his fill of ancient Carolyn Wainwright...she's the coworker at fashion/photography. Every time Esther did an action for the internet hobby, the woman was there, taking pictures... Magnus got so annoyed, he started the frenemy relationship with her!

I know you were capturing the others in the background but my eye was drawn to the perfect pianist in the fore! I so wish i had the pianohobby but $400 simcash is far too much for me to spare when there is so many items i’d Like to buy. I do hope that the piano heirloom turns up in one of the special heirloom boxes! 🤞 🙏

@PaQuilter1 Thank you 🙂 I think Willow looks more like Victoria than Finn now, but Willow Grace is almost the spitting image (gender aside) of Finn.
Charlie's security is still there, but now they look like Secret Service. Lucille is still posted outside and Greta is inside questioning anyone who gets too close, even older siblings who walk nearby.
They'll be able to spot imposters before an uttered word. Did I mention they're all trained in Jeet Kun Do?
Poor Lee McDonnell has taken to talking to the birdbath. 😋

Thank you @PaQuilter1. Or at least I wish the toddlers and children played with toys instead of just wandering around the house! I too wish there were more interactions than once a day!
I was a little concerned when I logged on tonight and found both Greta and Lucille outside. They had changed back into their undercover clothes and were both on duty outside. Then I noticed that they were pulling double duty. They were providing extra security, but they were also playing with Charlie. I hadn't noticed at first that she was outside playing and so it was totally natural for both of her security aunties to be there.
I'm still not sure where Baldr found a hospital gown, but he was proudly walking around the house in it. Alex doesn't usually bring hospital items home from work so we're not sure what Baldr is up to. We are just happy he is comfortable enough to make himself at home here. The security detail hasn't bothered him too much. The've checked him out and he is considered safe. Alex is happy to have such a good friend that he visits all of the time.
