My little princess had her first birthday today and left the bassinet. Charlotte Augusta Knight has turned into a toddler. Her first thought was typical of a toddler. Since it is Father's Day, Alice took some extra time with Charlie and helped her earn her third star in the Good Upbringing trait. (Usually Alex handles most of the child care duties. It helps him decompress after shifts at the hospital.)
We are also pleased with the extra help and attention that our friends are providing to Charlie. Greta Garbo and Baldr have not left our home since before Charlie was born. The family sincerely appreciates the help and support.
We also would like to express our thanks to Lucille Ball, who has been on security detail outside our house for the last two days.
