Sims Mobile - Unlocking Careers

Question

Question regarding the cost to unlock various careers in the Sims Mobile - When the option to open the fashion studio was first presented, it cost roughly 1200 simoleons. I went to look yesterday and the price increased to roughly 4600 and today it has jumped to 7035! Why the drastic price inflation? At this rate, those who want to play for free will never be able to unlock that career opportunity and the rewards that go with it.

I believe prices go up as you level up. I was able to purchase one that was at least 4,000. I have not spent real life money for simoleons (only for sim cash to gain another playable character). You just have to save up. I had my Sims go to work on a long shift at level 10 several times a day. It just takes a lot of time playing the game to speed up each shift. And if you reach retirement, wait a while till your sims can save you up money for the next generation.
