@thecharsims I really hope you can complete this quest on time 🤞
Regarding the long events, you have probably already discovered that doing a relationship hangout between two of your own playable Sims halves the time. It will take 4 hours instead of 8. Also you can help them by using both Sims' energy. After an hour their energy will be fully recharged so you will be able to continue helping them after that time.
It is not possible to change relationship stories in Sims Mobile, unfortunately. That doesn't mean that you can't add a twist to the story 😉 Friends can get married. ❤️
You can't place a room inside another. Maybe one of the special shaped rooms could work.
@SalixCatDang, that’s unfortunate about the rooms. I really want to make a foyer lol I also ended up spending actual cash to complete that event which I really wasn’t trying to do bcus I always get rid of apps when I’m over them and wasting money sucks, especially on an app. Anyway, thank you for the info.
Since you mentioned having 2 sims cuts down the time in half, I was wondering..... So, I’m only playing with the one sim and I want to add the sports chapter sim into my household so my sim and him can get married and that whole thing. However, I’m being weird bcus I want to move him in first and then have him propose to her. I was curious though, before I do anything, will the sports chapter be removed from that sim if I move him in with mine? I finally reached level 8 for the chapter so I can unlock the “move in option” and now I’m wondering if I should do it yet. I want to wait before I do anything. I would hate to have to do that chapter all over again if I move the sim in too soon.
Well, actually. Now, I don’t see the option to move him in. At level 6 or 7, I saw it locked and it said, it has to be unlocked at level 8. Now, I’m at level 8 and I don’t see it.

Hi @thecharsims
Congratulations! Now you have a new career. Photography is one of my favourites :eahigh_file:
This is how moving in another Sim's player works:
- Only playable Sims can be asked to move in after reaching level 8 in a relationship. Those who are retired can't move in.
- You will need to have an empty playable Sim slot available for the Sim that moves in. If not, the Sim won't be able to move in.
- When you tap on the Ask to move in option, your request will go automatically to the other player who may accept or deny to let their Sim go.
You wrote that the move in option is not visible at level 8. Scroll down through all the options (friendly, romantic, rivalry). If you don't find it, could it be that the other Sim is now retired (hope not). Could you please post a screenshot that shows him?
Now, regarding the ongoing relationship story:
- Your Sim started that story and "owns" it. Therefore she is the one who will be able to propose.
- You will be able to continue the same story as it is without losing any progress if he moves in.
Remember that the wedding quest will be triggered as soon as your Sim gets engaged.

@SalixCatWell, I can propose to the sim still. There is an event option for that. I just don’t see the option to move in. Also, the sim is just one from the game. It doesn’t belong to a player, at least not to my knowledge bcus he doesn’t have a blue plum bob and I can give him makeovers if I want. I did scroll through all the options when I hit level 8 and didn’t see the option for that sim to move in. I was just wondering if my sim did propose and was able to move the other sim in, would I still be able to complete the sports chapter with that sim even though they are now in my household...?
I tried adding in an image but it says it’s too large and I’m on my phone so I don’t know... but that would suck if I can’t add him to my household. 😔
Also, how can I tell if he’s retired... but I can still propose to him though. I don’t know. I’m confused lol

Moving in NPCs (Non Playable Characters) that don't have a plumbob over their head works like this:
- Only young NPCs can move in when married to playable Sims. There is no Move in option for NPCs at level 8.
- You don't need to have an empty playable Sim slot available for an NPC. They move in as NPCs, not as playable Sims. You can promote them to playable Sims whenever you want.
- NPCs move in only when married to playable SIms. Your Sims will therefore have to Propose and marry to the NPC. After the marriage the NPC will automatically move in to your household.
- When you tap on the Propose option for the first time, the wedding quest will be triggered to start.
Yes, as I said before, you can continue and complete the relationship story.
