@SalixCatWell, I can propose to the sim still. There is an event option for that. I just don’t see the option to move in. Also, the sim is just one from the game. It doesn’t belong to a player, at least not to my knowledge bcus he doesn’t have a blue plum bob and I can give him makeovers if I want. I did scroll through all the options when I hit level 8 and didn’t see the option for that sim to move in. I was just wondering if my sim did propose and was able to move the other sim in, would I still be able to complete the sports chapter with that sim even though they are now in my household...?
I tried adding in an image but it says it’s too large and I’m on my phone so I don’t know... but that would suck if I can’t add him to my household. 😔
Also, how can I tell if he’s retired... but I can still propose to him though. I don’t know. I’m confused lol
Moving in NPCs (Non Playable Characters) that don't have a plumbob over their head works like this:
- Only young NPCs can move in when married to playable Sims. There is no Move in option for NPCs at level 8.
- You don't need to have an empty playable Sim slot available for an NPC. They move in as NPCs, not as playable Sims. You can promote them to playable Sims whenever you want.
- NPCs move in only when married to playable SIms. Your Sims will therefore have to Propose and marry to the NPC. After the marriage the NPC will automatically move in to your household.
- When you tap on the Propose option for the first time, the wedding quest will be triggered to start.
Yes, as I said before, you can continue and complete the relationship story.
