I am have the EXACT issue. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app many times with no luck either. I also cannot click on certain actions, ie. Cannot click on property to purchase more land in my backyard. I’ve attached a screenshot with the upper left hand corner circled with the same issue.
Exact same thing for me also since the pop up appeared I’m unable to expand land and a load of other things too
I have also realised as well as the season task bar being in the top right corner, it won’t let me retire sims, complete chapters, or do the science lab pastry event. I can only complete the home pastry challenge and the park side one if I go to the location first and click it from there.
I can’t really do much on the game at the moment at all!
so annoying ☹️
