I have spent quite a bit money on this game. I am on level 45. So it is definitely quite frustrating considering the bugs that I’m dealing with.
I cannot expand my land. it’s not because I don’t have enough coins or because I’m not at a level where I’m not allowed to do.
It’s simply will not allow me to press purchase. It just glitches and won’t perform the action. I also have a little tab that won’t go away regarding the Sims Festival and the daily task that are available. Like a notification basically in the top left corner. Which I believe is also a glitch because there is no sins possible going on right now and that notification will not go away and is blocking my view of how much simoleons I have in sims dollars. It’s all very frustrating. I’ve spent months on end playing this game, if spent quite a bit of actual dollars, and I’ve tried contacting EA, via email several times about this and no one has ever gotten back to me. Just seeking some help regarding this game. I would hate to have to stop playing because it really is just harmless fun. But the bugs are making it impossible to enjoy. My player ID is

@oue80ong76uu If you read this before the moderators wake up, I advice you to remove your player ID. Apparently posting this is not safe. If you don’t do it yourself (click edit post), a moderator will.
Now: YOU ARE NOT ALONE HAVING PROBLEMS!
It seems we are very many players who have problems with this game at the moment. For all I know, we all have more or less the same problems. Like you, I can’t clear new land.
The only thing we can do, is to hope the developers will fix these issues as soon as possible. While waiting, I focus on making simoleons. It’s a bit boring, but I hope to go crazy buying things when all the problems are over. That will be fun.
Whatever you do: don’t delete your game to reinstall it. It will not fix the problem, but you may get new problems. And don’t use the bulldoser to destroy your house, because items may disappear.
The developers know about the problems - as you can see from their message here. And here:A sure sign that they have managed to do something, may be that the tutorial banner (saying «we also have seasonal tasks») in the top left corner is not there when you log in. According to a Twitter message, a new update of some kind will be issued Monday (possibly Monday evening were you are).
