Yes. Also, yes. 
-message stuck on screen

-I can’t leave home to go on dates

-can’t change the color of an item until I buy the item, then click on the item again and purchase the color

    Since it’s known to the developers, we can expect to see a fix. There isn’t really anything you can do yourself.

    The latest news I have seen, is a message on Reddit were it says that more information from the developers will come tomorrow. That may be tomorrow evening were you are.

    Because the app is unstable now I suggest that you don’t delete and reinstall (you may get more problems), don’t use the bulldoser (you may loose items) and don’t retire or switch Sims between passive/active (because they may get stuck).
