[Solved] Issues with the baby quest not starting or finishing

Product: The Sims Mobile
Platform:Apple iPhone
List the specific devices you play with (e.g. iPhone 6s Plus, Samsung Galaxy S7) iPhone 7 Plus
OS Version iOS 12.3.1
Player ID: (Find your Player ID in Sims Mobile: https://help.ea.com/help/the-sims/the-sims-mobile/find-your-player-id-in-the-sims-mobile )
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? If you have the changing table already, it seems like the quest will not recognize it. You can’t sell it and rebuy the changing table.
What do you expect to see?
Connection Type Wifi

I already had the changing table.  Have a baby quest (Hello, baby!) says to buy changing table then tap on it. I can’t sell the table and when I tap on it, it says view changing table. When you complete the action, nothing happens.

    @NylesMM your post is now merged with a thread about the same issue.

    The changing table has a cooldown as you can see in this screenshot. Unfortunately it doesn't show when you purchase it before getting the quest. You might need to wait until the cooldown is finished in order to be able to use the changing table and start the baby quest.

    Hope this works for you.

    I purchased the baby bed before I started this quest. Now I am unable to continue because I already have the bed. Any tips? (Sims free play mobile)

    Thanks for the screenshots @neecoalage1985 

    To complete the Hello, Baby! quest you need the Stork's Visit Bassinet.

    Open build mode -> Home Item Collections -> Baby steps.

    Purchase the bassinet and you're ready to continue with the quest.

    I’m trying to progress in this quest and it says I need the baby changing table which I purchased prior to the quest being given. Basically I’m not receiving credit for having it since I already bought it. Screenshots provided of current quest and what it is telling me to do and the baby changing table I already have. @SalixCat

    Sorry, @neecoalage1985 

    I completed this quest a month ago and Hello, baby! was the step I described.

    If the game does not recognize the changing table, what I would do is to put all the owned objects of the collection into storage, close the app, restart my device, open the app and place the changing table again in the house. 

    Then tap on the changing table.
