Just wondering, is any of the bad consequences permanent? It said I'll make a sim sad for not spending any cash or using a cupcake (I had none) and I hope she's not sad until retirement.
Its ok they will only cry when they have nothing to do, they work fine on their hobbies/careers, so if you keep them busy, they will forget to be sad :P
@BlueWizardRob I always hit "I don't like pets" when it comes up. I don't think there's anything special to get it. And new ones are popping up as well. The make up one and the rival one but yet again, it's just for hobbies or career boots that have no use to me since I'm 100% done.

I think @BlueWizardRob is asking what actions you’re doing to trigger the pet surprising choice to even come up. I’ve only gotten it once, and I can’t remember what I was doing. I’ve tried to trigger it with personal events, rival, better late than never, talking about pets, norhing. All I get is a % off options for personal events or hobbies. No choices to buy anything in several days. I’ve worked, done hobbies, personal events, special events, and gone to two parties a day. Really sick of my % off options though! 🤨

OMG when I went back in the game instantly got the sandwich/lunch choice! 😭🤬 hahaha, how annoying 😲 and it was the first and only one I’ve had all day 😐
I got a surprising choice regarding one of my Sims' clothes. I chose the worst option and now he won't speak to anyone in the house. If I click on him with another sim active I get the lock-out message that "[sim] is upset." Haha! XD
Bonus! The irritated sim will be locked out of group activities at parties too. Talk about holding a grudge!
I got one about a lemon tree, pretty funny. Not after the 6th time though!
I'm wondering if there's a glitch on the surprising choice option where you can spend "2000" simcash for 25% off purchases. That seems erroneous. The next option was "150".
Seems counterintuitive to spend that much simcash for a discount on purchases WITH simcash.
@ShaNoodle9 Did you happen to get a picture of it? That seems like it could be a bug. I think it should show 200. If you did take a picture, can you open a bug report for it here:
