Just a heads up - we have moved this thread to The Sims Mobile Game info forum. It should be easier for you all to access it from here 😉

@EA_Mai Thank you so much! I had to keep a tab open on my browser so I wouldn't lose it...because I kept losing it! 😋
- 8 years ago@PaQuilter1 I hope you don't mind that I'm copying your post in this thread. I want to respond but don't want to get busted for going off-topic. 😬

"@VintageStarlette [...at level 40...] there are no relationship stories left to do either because all the prizes have been won. I think EA's intent here is to constantly make new Sims and constantly having to level them up but the way the game is now, it's kind of counterintuitive. There are no new prizes for leveling up relationships with the loss of higher level incomes in careers and hobbies, it doesn't make sense to keep retiring our Sims and with the "Item Limit" it makes it even worse. 😮"
I agree. Once you master everything, there's no incentive to keep playing. So game features are geared toward making you start over from the bottom with a new Sim. But if a player does that, she's basically throwing away all she's earned without full reward for her efforts. It would be insane to willingly toss your investment only to try to start over playing so you can toss your investment. Again. - 8 years ago
The only reason I keep starting over with another generation of Sims is that aspect of the game. The family and the family genetics. I dread the part of starting over training, that's why I don't retire too many too fast. I need some income while the new generation learns their skills, but isn't that what real life is like?
btw, my 8th generation is being born while we speak!

@Simfanatic08 Definitely! The problem is I can spend it as fast as my Sims make it! Hahaha 😋😉😅
- themummyof48 years agoSeasoned AceFinally got round to writing a new blog! Trying to write one without too many tears and dramas, hahaha, it's rapidly becoming one of those crazy Soaps...!

@VintageStarlette, I got Penny mentioned, I just had to, they're such a cute family!! - 8 years ago
Thank you for your help @EA_Mai. I find the layout of the Origin/AHQ boards really complex to navigate as I’m used to VBulletin forums. I’ll follow the thread links that i can see at the top now to find the right spot to start any new these if needed 🙂
@themummyof4 I MUST get to reading you stories!!! I just need to find the right time to sit and focus so i dont re-read the same sentence/paragraph five times over... the joys of ADHD!! 🙄

@themummyof4 Now I see what everyone's been talking about! My gosh girl! the talent you have for writing!!
I found myself getting invested in each character and chuckled at certain memories of the parties! Don't ever stop! God's given you something Amazing!!

"Celebrations" was a wonderful, uplifting story. You captured Tabitha and Richard's relief at Richard's recovery perfectly. I love the way you weave EA's behind the scenes technical corrections into the story just like you do when a generation is retiring. It is literary genius!
"Calm Waters" was just that...calming. The joy of just being a normal family with two beautiful babies was heart warming. I'm anxious to read future installments because there appears to be a plot twist developing with Victoria and Chris. Can't wait!
Keep up the good work, Mummy! 😊☺

@themummyof4@PaQuilter1@I actually cried in the one of Victoria reacting to her husband's illness
Such a beautifully woven story with scenes that we remember from parties or chat so we get the feeling of being there and comedic relief!

@Simfanatic08 I know right. I know they are Sims but @themummyof4 brings them to life and makes them real. 😊☺
- themummyof48 years agoSeasoned AceWow!! You're making me cry! Thanks!!
I try to really link it to the game, anyone not familiar with Sims Mobile would probably be very confused by some stuff, haha. It amuses me though, some of the options when doing hobbies are very funny word plays, and I just like living vicariously through them, haha, just watching them, imagining what they would say or think. I love how they have made friends too, so cool! Writing that down has really increased my fun! Otherwise you just look at something they're doing, briefly think, oh that's cute, and forget. Now I get to write it down! I totally forgot how fun story writing was, like I said, it must be 30+ years ago, at primary school! - PaQuilter18 years agoHero (Retired)
@themummyof4 Just keep writing...It's my nightly must read! 😉😊
- 8 years ago@themummyof4 From "Calm Waters":
"After all, Chris is Mr Awkward at the best of times, with his longsuffering attitude...with the stress on suffering...." —😂🤣😆 Hahahaha!!!!
I was delighted to see Penny pop up in this episode! When she and Eva grow up, we'll make sure they're fast friends! I guess that'll be sooner than later. Penny poofed into a child this morning. It all goes far too quickly. 🖤 - themummyof48 years agoSeasoned AceDoesn't it just, @VintageStarlette! I love her hair though, she is so beautiful! A proper mini star!!
- 8 years ago🖤 Thank you, @themummyof4! I'm so, so tickled she inherited her parents' sepia tones. I wasn't quite sure what I'd do if she showed up in color!
I'm still catching up from yesterday. I'm anxious to get a glimpse of your new little ones. - themummyof48 years agoSeasoned AceThe new blog post is about Victoria, Richard Knight's cousin... she is a strong, sweet, optimistic girl, according to @BlueWizardRob, who agreed to the arranged marriages...
She will need every ounce of optimism, living with Chris, who's a grouch...
