Hi & Thanks for all the great Throwing Parties Tips

Soooo, I have a confession to make: I’m on Level 40, but never have had any parties as yet 🤭😬 I’m planning one in the near future (hopefully when I get enough Sim Cash to promote daughter), Brynn.
~Does the first party always HAVE to be a Birthday Party?
I don’t recall any kind of tutorial when I first started playing SM. Can the first party be a Studio or Foodie?
~Do ALL the Career/ Hobby items HAVE to be out (like from Storage) in order to get the Orange icons listed & also to entice other players?
~When you’re Hosting your own party, do you still need a gazillion Cake Energies?
~So the Party Chat sounds Fun/ Crazy/ Scary
Are conversations always one-on-one or like a group chat?
These are just a few of the questions I have for now !
I know I’m missing out on the Social aspect of the game & you all always have so much fun & I need a few laughs

Yes, it has to be a birthday party

Yes, they have to be out (but for the ones with three levels of the same item, only the top one needs to be out)

No, you use regular energy for your own parties. This also means that introductions are free with no energy cost.
