Unable to place an item

Could you test on some empty counter tops?

I had the same issue some days ago while moving furniture.

Apparently there was a kitchen deco underneath the floor (in between the wall where I marked with shower box), which was strangely placed there because originally it was on top of a Sage counter.

I only found it after I resized the room, moving the wall and exposing the grass under the floor. And that's how I knew something could actually get hidden down there.

Excellent idea except that I've tried placing it in multiple rooms & surfaces. Any other ideas or suggestions please? 

I wish I can help you, but I believe that item itself is glitched, not the floor like mine. I think if it is like what I experienced before (like way, way back and almost forgotten about it), I had a glitched towel rolls (the one from yoga hobby) which wouldn't go on any surface, not even the floor. In the end I just kept it in my storage. It went forgotten until recently I was renovating the house (as you can see from the screenshots, I had stuff all over the place), I tried placing the towel rolls again and it went on top of a wardrobe in my master bedroom.

I don't know if the item is fixed for me or that I haven't tried placing it there before, but for sure I'm not going to move it from there now in case it won't go anywhere else again.

You are correct. I've remove items & tried placing other table or counter decor without issue. It's just that bloody coffee pot that I can't seem to place anywhere & is preventing me from completing that set. Thank you for the assistance. 😊

Could you test a counter in a different room, maybe a newly placed room?

@Sysgoddess Try placing a new kitchen cabinet with a counter (it has to have two cabinet doors) anywhere that is an open spot and see if you can place the coffee pot.

Usually, when an item can't be placed it turns red and the object that is blocking it also turns red. Look for that other object and move it out of the way then trying placing the pot. Then you can put the object back in its original place.  Hope it helps. 😊

No. Thats sort of the point. I cantc place it anywhere on any surface including the floors. I can place other items on the same surfaces, just not that one.

Sorry but please read my original post & responses to others. I have attempted to place the item in pretty much every conceivable location and surface available where I have been able to place other objects. The only difference is that I opted to not document each attempt with a screenshot.

@Sysgoddess Ok this is going to sound strange but when you try to place it look all over the lot not just in the kitchen for something else turning red. Also, have you resized the rooms lately? Sometimes there is something hidden behind a wall that got stuck there.  I had a tree outside that was keeping me from placing a mixer.  ☺
