Week Party Board/Schedule

hi @tmoss189 ive just gone in and it’s crashed, sorry to have missed you and hope it didn’t pinch one of yr two parties options for day. Thx everyone who made it my mirror sure was popular, those sims are so vain! but why was Arin measuring it and who is that guy whose feeling I’ll..... Guess Arin wants a gold mirror and someone drank too much juice! Hope you all get rewards ok like me. Hey i got 400 party error to make up for lost rewards at parties I tried to go to! Whooee. Lol I get to throw another party in four days but I think I’ve lost the relationships my guys  and girls started, sorry Mr Doggie back to square one.

Also, I tried joining Dizzie's party and this was the first party that ever crashed on me. I didn't know what a crash would look like on my screen, but the sims mobile loading screen just froze on my screen and would continue to do so after multiple attempts to join Dizzie's party. Unfortunately, it also took one of my slots for parties joined and I was not able to get any personal or party rewards. Now since parties can let you get 4 fashion gems, I think fixing these party crashes should be a top priority. (Rip 4 fashion gems).  Also this was the first party I joined that a forum member has thrown. Not what I was expecting for my first party with people on this forum.

Hi everyone and @TomSpeedy180 welcome to the party board forum and this is exactly what has been happening to me all week, every party I tried to join froze on me counting as one attended but no rewards, in fact so far this week I have only had rewards for three parties I joined ad hoc from public list so really poor show for me re stickers and gems this week! Only one public party got to level 10 and I noticed number of sims at parties seemed a bit low, only three at one party!  I struck up 4 relationships at my party yesterday getting to level 3 in one during day but when it crashed I lost all those relationships and contact of sims for my sims. Although they are still raving about their new friend in the speech bubble on the relationship tab. As you will see from posts our friends on our lists are not always showing up they are holding parties. I have also noted a huge volume of retired and grey haired sims compared to active sims or sims of friends or new people met at parties on all my lots. Also strangely this morning it was like a ghost town no other sims but mine then three of mine disappeared so there was only one of my sims evident. I closed and reopened game a few times before it got back to normal! Has anyone else noticed any of this? Weird but all seems party, socialising friendship and retirement related. 

It it will eventually get sorted out as parties are problematic for lots of people and a main sell for the game so please bear with it. 🙏

Thinking back to my party I think I saw your name come up and I know you joined my friends list around then so maybe you got through briefly before freezing back out. Parties go so fast at first it’s hard keeping track and unfortunately one of the other problems is chat does not always work for everyone so we pick up lots of info here in the forum. And because only so many sims seem able to be on view at party at any one time I find when hosting  or attending a party you have to briefly leave party after level 10  and return so you can see different sims you are chatting to but can’t find on the screen in game play even though you are chatting to them live!  👍🙀

 @tmoss189 I saw you join my party it was later on after level ten so again, as I have found myself, no warning party full or reached limit or level ten and allows you to join but freezes on you. Not sure how that relates to party crashes because it was from reading the forum posts then I went back to my party and that was when it physically crashed out on me......... 

frustrating or what, but anyone noticed anything else other than above????? Keep 😺😀😃😄😁😊☺️😌🤓🤪😁😄😀😺

Hi Everyone and warm welcome to the party forum @TomSpeedy180 - what you describe in your post is exactly what has been happening to me all week!  I see the party in the tab go to join and it freezes on me counting as having attended but because I could not participate at the party no rewards!  In fact this week my stickers and gems have been so dismal because having tried to go to two parties a day I have in fact only got to four all week, one was at level 10 on arrival but it let me sticker and use my 10 purple balloon hits, one was well attended and we got to level 10, the other two were public ad hoc parties I joined in and they only got to  level 3 and only three people were there at each party!  

When I had my party yesterday all went well and we got to level 10 in the first hour nice and steady with plenty of chat.  I tasked all of my four sims onto relationships and got one to level 3, but when my party crashed later on I actually lost all those relationships although when I look at my sims tabs in relationships there is a balloon over them saying about their new friend but the friend has gone from their contact tab and I know they were there because I checked when at the party! (Sorry @mrdoggie94 I tried!) Interestingly while I was at my party I saw your name pop up and I think you might have joined and been booted because I could not see your sim there but I noted you had accepted my friends request and joined my list and on party chat your name was there, also @tmoss189 I saw your name there indicating you had joined, but again no sign of your sim.  I do find that whether hosting or attending you can only see so many sims on screen at the party and if you leave and return to the party you will find other sims have joined the screen whose sims were not evident when looking around for them and even though they were active in live chat!  Also, it was when I saw your post @tmoss189 that I went back to my party and that was when it crashed down on me and the party decorations gentle flew up my screen and disappeared......

So this morning, I am in game and at work with my sims and it was like a ghost town, no other sims around on any of the lots or passing my house, just my 4 sims, then 3 of mine disappeared from view and I was left with one lonely sim at work in Market Square and not a sole in sight!  I closed game and reopened a couple of times and got back my sims and then browsed around and virtually all the other sims I could see were retired, grey haired or EA generated sims without the blue icon over them (?NPC's) with very few live active real people's sims and only one I spotted, a recent new friend, from my party yesterday that one of my sims struck up a relationship with so I was able to get them back today! At least their balloon caption in contacts now makes sense!

 

DOES THIS ALL SOUND FAMILIAR TO ANYONE ELSE? Frustrating or what!

 

Add in some of our friends, @ava and @pinkpurpleboots whose friends cant even see their parties show up (and others who same thing in their posts) and chat failing to work at parties so you cant even say hello and we have a lot of quirky glitches around relationships, parties, retirements and contacts. I am sure EA will sort out at some point with an update, there are so many posts in forums about this and it is one of the big sells for the game, we just have to grin and bear for moment so keep smiling everyone, the Waterfront has arrived, two new careers, and lots of space for more down there, if only EA can solve the some of the long standing bugs...…..
