You can set your support manually to one other base. No matter if the base is in your alliance or not.

The answer to your exact question is no

"One of these is that can we set support on several allied bases from a single base?"

although if you don't set your support your base will automatically support all ally bases within range once alerted. Salmoranes answer was spot on I just wanted to be sure you were clear.
