@Soixie i do not fail to understand, i know how sector jumps work, maybe you should re-read what am asking for, hopefully the simple explanation above, can get my point across.
You keep asking the same question repeatedly, that have already been answered in this thread. The shape of the cast iron skillet is irrelevant, you can ask the question 500 different ways and the skillet is still black. Failing to believe it doesn't change the facts.
5) Why does a sector a jump allow a killed base to attack before the 24 hour period has lapsed?^^^^ for the 1,000th time, because it's allowed. Sector jumping removes the cool down from all bases. Any damaged bases can simply be healed instantly through selling and rebuilding. There are no limitations from a PVP perspective for players utilizing this get out of jail free card. Piss, moan, cry, loophole, cheat, feature, whatever, it is what it is and it is what was originally coded and the current nature of PVP.
@EE_Elephterion - I'm pretty sure ppl want to be able to attack the millisecond after they sector, which is fine. Any change to this will introduce new problems. For PVP focused worlds, part of the excitement is in fact "hunting" players in other sectors by landing on them and immediately killing them. The issue at hand is the "defender" getting attacked - they should not be able to sector during combat, while they are experiencing combat cool down (from base destroyed) and/or if any of their bases are within the "cool down timer". To expand upon this, if some fool keeps dropping their base to be destroyed multiple times and their "cool down timer" is 7 days, too bad. They wait 7 days until their cool down timer for their one base is gone before they can sector.
Allowing players to "escape" is the "loophole".
Thank you for considering a fix.
