nice thread, interesting and id also like to play a world with only the game scripts ...why, because like chad im a bit of a Luddite when it comes to computers etc, and have learnt a lot of the games mechanics by trial and error . also with the help of veteran players.
i have used scripts and at this moment i do have it installed but switched off, because it makes my game crash when i use it , this is properly due to the age of my computer and when i do use it , its for a layout scan only.
i like the fact i can look at a FG base and set up a attack, run it on the attack stimulator and find no improvement, that is a skill i have learnt form all the years i have played this game .
it would be a very interesting experiment to run a script free world, it would have to be seen how many would take up the challenge., but i would love to give it a go.
