Last WCS started also with a bug where you was able to buy Repair Time. You restarted the server and gave funds back for it, leaving limits added.
Could you do something similar to a firestorm? You got logs data etc. I completely understand that will cost you some work, but for mistakes sometimes you have to pay.
If you want to make people happy I think this is only one option to do.
