- Access to the old email is an essential requirement to recover an account without Two Factor Authentication. If EA help have not been able to solve the issue then no-one here will be able to help either.
I'm assuming you've tried Origin.com and the recovery system they have. - Polux373 years agoNew TravelerOrgin.com is down long time, it redirects to EA page.
Unfortunately, I also lost access to one of my accounts. EA help is not helpful at all, they are asking for random data that even cannot be defined by the system. The strangest think is that on none of my account 2 factor authorization is enable in profile, but system requires it anyway. 2FA should not be enabled without user consent, but it is fashionable, so companies do that anyway regardless of consequences.
Simlar issue here also not solved. - www.Origin.com works for me - it hasn't been offline when I've tried.
I don't think it is the solution, but you need access to the original e-mail address or be able to convince support it is your account (very difficult to do). - Polux373 years agoNew TravelerI don’t doubt your words, therefore this looks like one of the situations when we both are right, and this can be explained that orgin.com is available only in certain countries on others it just redirects to local EA page in my case pl-pl.
Anyway, some time ago many people recommended mails singed by company G (not a commercial) and that company also introduced forced 2FA. When you don’t use the account daily just once per several years there is requirement to log with last know device, and that's based on cookies. Even when you have same IP and device or browser, you cannot expect to have cookies from many years past. Especially when the same company recommend regular cleaning cookies for security reasons. So that two security policies that excluded them selfs. Once company introducing that and next are blindly following.
As a consequence, end users are the ones that are paying the cost. So, I don’t see an option to recover the account. Any way thanks for information that orgin page may somewhere works. - nefrontheone3 years agoSeasoned Aceorigin.com works, works by redirecting to the official EA website but it works.
The Origin program for Windows, if I remember correctly, has been replaced by an app or something similar.
The online help reference can be found here:

Select "Mudar endereço de email" and try it.
In the past, from Spain, they answered me by phone and they solved it with several voice confirmation questions; they changed my email without having access to the old provider that suddenly closed.
Perhaps you could try a chat with EA support. :-?
All control of EA game accounts is owned by EA and is managed and maintained by EA for the proper use of its users.
Noone in this forum (active in this forum) can help you about your EA account, sorry. :-( - nefrontheone3 years agoSeasoned AceGoogling I also found this, you could try it:
https://help.ea.com/pt/help-contact-us/?product=pogo&topic=online-connectivity - Polux373 years agoNew TravelerThanks for advice. I tried chat. Unfortunately, that will not help because problem is within flawed EA support system itself.
Chat option is not available in all languages/countries by default, in some you have to request to be allowed to use that option and even so, you most likely will be redirected to tech support from India that is using translator, so basically, they don’t understand anything. When you are lucky and eventually can contact someone with your native language. You got a list of questions, and that's all. Answering correct to them and system rejects it. Most consultants don't want to say why and just disconnects from chat without warning. I get one consultant to some more talks and got the info when you don't have for example phone number and answer that phone number is undefined the system doesn't count that answer and should not be consider in pool. And when you have more than half valid answers from pool system can accept that. But that also don’t seem to be valid.
One question that cannot be passed is what game you own and installation date of the game. When you answer C&C TA and start date, it is invalid. I tried to discuss more about that, but surprise chat ended without warning. I can only guess that you relay don’t own this game, as it free to play so no purchases were made and it’s not “owned”, you also don’t install this game or any specific client for the game as you run it only in browser. So strict definition is a flaw of system. Providing any additional information about browser and game like screenshots, servers etc. is pointless as those data are rejected. Only strict questionnaire that is clearly not suited to accommodate for this game that can be played without spending money or any purchases.
That’s why I can say that recovering an account is not possible when you only playing this one game.
