New EA app

I'm severely disappointed with the forced download of the new EA app and am writing to you to hopefully fix this issue. I don't want the app, I won't be downloading it, no matter what it does, and if I will be required to download it, I will neither replay the games I already have nor buy any new games from EA in the future. In general, I don't understand why I need a secondary app to play a game I already paid for on Steam. It's just bloatware at this point. Please make the installment of this app optional, or at least allow me to play my games without internet connection and without your app. Thank you very much for your time and have a great day.
