New world checker

Hi All,

If anyone else out there is like me and doesn't like checking the forums all the time to see if a new world has been announced, then I've got a script you might like.

I've created a basic python web scrapper that checks the forums to see if a new world has been announced.

  • Probably yes, will I? no.

Getting constant game alerts would require an active connection to the game world instead of polling the forums once a day.

This brings about two issues. First, this would increase the number of game world connections, potentially making the worlds unstable depending on the number of people using it. Second, it would need access to your account session which would prevent you from playing at the same time.

While it would be interesting to try, it's on the whole, not a good idea in my opinion.

Didn't even know this was a thing. Go figure :)
