Offense Level + Tunnels

We are having a discussion about tunnels and how they work on Firestorm 11..Could someone please direct me to where, or if they could shed light on the tunnel system?

Here's a scenario..45 tunnel is being spawned OP's by mates with 39+ offense..but someone with a 36 offense comes in to start killing the outposts spawns..does this not affect the respawns from the outposts because someone with too low of offense to respawn the outposts is killing? I've spent hours testing but perhaps its been changed..looking for info please!
  • Who kills the outpost hasn't in the past made the difference to the re-spawning of new ones. It's the location and level of lower player bases that is important. I am not aware of any announced recent changes to the behaviour of tunnels (ie in late 2018 and 2019)
