Phone compatibility

Any plans to make TA compatible with phones? Would be nice even if just to move and repair base.

Guess this leads to another question of is there any significant development planned for TA, or will it just continue as-is until it reaches end-of-life?

  • Hi! We do not plan to release TA as a mobile game. We keep releasing new worlds and challenges regularly, though. 🙂

  • @DubbelPorsie You can still view your entire base with a mobile device i think.

And the desktops version of the map will give a wider viewable map. You can navigate around by using object coordinates. Not optimal but it works.

  • I know I've used it a lot, but it's pretty useless for world view, moving bases etc.

If TA wants to stay relevant, this would be a good start

Developing for phones with their much smaller visible screen would take a lot of time and therefore money.  I don't think that EA are interested in developing this particular incarnation of Command & Conquer in that direction as there is already a title designed to be played on a phone, CnC:Rivals.
