why cant we use what we stored, how do we open them to use what we stored?

- Silos store crystal and tiberium. Tiberium is used to build your base and some defence units, crystal is used to build defence units and all offense units. However, you also need power which comes from accumulators and power plants linked together and is often in short supply preventing the building of units.
- What, you don't have a key? Ask the harvester driver; he usually has it on a big keyring. Then you can open the silo. Yes, I'm jk.
