The Next Step for Project

The Next Step

Hello everybody!

Project is going to evolve. After achieving our own goals, its time to give something back.

Almost 2 years ago Project was founded out of various alliances to win the next WCS.
Learning from the past we knew we had no chance to win against the daunting German dominance that was Schaffa in this game if we did not drastically change things.

Having a bunch of allied groups was not good enough. The international field had more competitive players, but they were scattered across many teams. Seeing big potential in having a strong organisational framework and a united group we set out to gather enough strong players to beat Schaffa.

As you all know, plans are good, but reality often differs. We hoped for a WCS at the end of 2020 already. That did not come. Instead we met Schaffa on Tib 49 and beat them so well, that they never played a server together again. It has to be said though that Schaffa did not start with their full WCS team on 49.

By the time the WCS was announced we were playing Tib 53 and it was boring. No competition and voices of Project being bad for the game got louder. Sure, some people who are not happy to lose, but we could also not ignore it all the way.

Schaffa announced they would not start on the WCS 2021. We were still hoping it may be a trick to make us approach the WCS less careful, but it was not. Other groups started, but competition dwindled down quickly and even at the beginning not just Alpha but all Project alliances were outdigging our opponents.

Sure it is nice to win, but it is so much sweeter when you win after several weeks of PVP against a very strong opponent. Many of us miss the worlds where you had to fight and play hard to win.

So what comes next?
"We won the WCS, awesome - lets jump on the next server and continue our winning streak!" - would be one way to do it.
But that way is no fun for too many. Both for us and especially for others out there. Non-morale Forgotten Attacks is the favourite game mode for most players of this game. And if you believe some voices, we managed to empty these server almost completely, because nobody wants to play against us.
That is a problem. Not just for us, but also for the game itself.

👉 We will stop playing as Project... 👈
... until the next WCS is announced or a team out there challenges us.

Our main goal was to win the WCS. Mission accomplished.

After playing multiple servers in parallel for the better part of a year a lot of us are burned out.

So we decided to let Project rest and stand at the pinnacle of its success and encourage all our players to:
Revive the old alliances or form new ones
Lets play some challenging servers again with intense PVP!

All Project players are welcome here at all times, but its not an exclusive club. You can be a Project player and start something new on the next world.

Discord Server Changes
The server was meant as an internal communication platform for our group. But over the years it grew much further. We have over 700 members on the server and more players in the member section who used to play with us than actively play in our teams.

That is no problem at all, but we decided to open up the server. The public section only exists of an info channel, a public chat that is mostly dead and a memes channel.
But we have much more to offer and we think the game becomes a better place if we share some of that with the rest.

Over the next days we will restructure the channels and turn our Discord server into a CNCTA Community Server

We will share our knowledge base, guides and scripts and move more conversations to the public area. Lets make the server to a place where you can talk about CNCTA, learn how to become better at the game and find new players to play with.

Lets make this game worth playing for many more servers to come!

Project Command

I want to forward the invitation to our Discord server.
Depending on activity and need, we will introduce server specific channels.

    You guys are funny.

You really think that there will be some serious competition at the next server?

There will be 2-3 project teams with different names. WOW. Perhaps they will fight each other for the victory at the end of the server. So they can say -> PVP is back. LOL.
If there are other ally´s (pretty sure that will not happen) you really think they will not play together? What a joke.

Don´t let yourself be fooled. Don´t waste your time + money for these guys.

    By the way @EE_Elephterion and @enigm :
what about all the proposals for a better game. Its already March - again nothing is happening!

BUT who are you to judge, I see you only won one level 7 badge in the game, Project is asleep for now, what will happen in the next worlds no one knows.
But what did you expect Project players to stop playing?
We've explained what we're going to do, you can believe it or not it's not our problem, we're not benefactors, this decision to revive our old Teams is also for ourselves and to find the game more fun. Don't believe us? It's not our problem.
    Meanwhile try to win something...............

i believe many people have been dying to play FA servers sans project, so out of respect they should at least be taken at their word. let them enjoy a competitive environment like everyone else wants to for a change. you can expect to see another server with 20+ full alliances for the first time in FA no morale since t44 id say.

i predicted lions den would win t54 in this forum and in that global during or after the first day looks like i might be right. i also think we will see what kind of mess people can get themselves into when the inexperience of even strength pvp begins to wear them out a little bit. maybe they will challenge themselves if no others step up.... only i dont think a project alliance of 50 alone can beat the optimal out of order contingent without allies and in the event one side begins to appear dominant in this next server we will certainly see their true colors.

this server could be the wcs we all wanted for this game so lets not jump to conclusions too early except for me cause out of order will likely win should they field a wcs worthy team against any unaffiliated group of players that project can combine and field alone. this will end up looking exactly like t44 and the alliance names will in some way reflect the current state of global affairs as has been the past for example: social distancing/ black mamba/ out of order.

im sorry for ruining the surprise if that is in fact what will happen its just the same thing happens non stop and its so predictable i havent been wrong in years cause its literally all the same people playing in the top alliances every single server no matter what anyway things go. it really wont be until the entire community is brought up to speed with the top players like project has stated as its intent and purpose. this is the catalyst for the change that is needed in this game to freshen up the experience for everyone whos been here playing this game for years and numbing their minds reading endless text from 'trolls' and 'whiners'.
  • Going to say thank you bruell.

Ive played this along time now as have many of us.the friends are what makes the game worth playing.ive tried to build black label into a family .from the yrs of playing with so many good players.not so good players but they are all treated the same an try to be respective of everyone an make them feel part of the family.

I have nevered cared for badges.would push others to get badge before me.that may be under ranked.but have been loyal an active. The co command.ill back them anywhere..but thank you from black label family.means a lot for someone to do what bruell is doing..
But if we want new players also we should set something up in cnc community on Facebook as well as thier discord

You may not like 'Project' but now is the time to at least get some of the scripts that being part of Project gives access to. Support will be available if required and requested, so we're told.

We actually went even further and made all tools and scripts public. Even explained how to use them. Scripts have never really been private anyways, but maybe some context on how to use them was.

We have no idea either what the future will look like. But encouraging players to start their own teams and get back to high competitive servers sounded like a good plan. We'll keep an eye on how things develop. Also happy for constructive input on how we can better develop the discord server to be there for the community.

So far two teams have emerged or regrouped already - TTD and a team around Project Omega command.

I think Project was never the problem. Only the multiacounting. Because the advantage that the project people gained from this at the beginning cannot be made up for. That's why Sana is also known as the biggest multi player ever. You sometimes had entire alliances full of alts.

It also doesn't matter if it's not forbidden, but you even used it at the WCS with the weak competition and made yourself look ridiculous.

Only when EA changes the rules and everyone only plays 1 account per world will you see who plays really well and who doesn't. But when you prepare so much in the beginning with alts, it's no wonder why the same ones are always on top
