hmm , ok interesting
how about this as a idea , have a world with a low crys production on base layouts , so if you want crys you need to kill for it , this was once a good war game , now it is mainly a farm game with a sprinkling of pvp if your lucky. , or maybe the game needs a name change to command and fast farm .
if certain resources were in short supply , it may spice the game back up for us old buggers who grew up playing the old W worlds before the changes in w102 , which were meant to help balance the game , but seemed to skewed it to a more farm it up format . the best change to the game mentioned above for me was the reduction of the pvp cost in cp , which at the time was meant as a balance to the changes and not deter the pvp aspect of the game to those not funding .
if nothing else it might change the way players build there def on bases and how they build there offensive units to a short supply of crys on a world , it may not work out well , but if nothing else it would be a change from the norm and engage some of the players to a new challenge.
hope this post , sparks a idea or 2 for future world settings , something needs to happen to get players blood flowing again with new challenges or we wont keep players engaged , we like to find ways to play the game to counter changes to it .
and just one thing on moral settings for me , they victimise those who dont fund , on most other world formats even unfunded or low funding player can make a go of it , but with moral worlds they just cant compete or stay at a lvl where they are useful to a alliance , then they probably lose interest and maybe not come back to the game at all...ever !
