World Challenge 2023 - Example of degrading nature of this game

In WCS 2023 we can all agree it has been a major * show, cashgrab by EA, full of bugs, heinous behavior, clear cheating, bully behavior, and absolutely an clear cut example of why this game is going to trash.

The fact is simple. This game is toxic and full of bully behavior. These group of players sweat and make this guy unplayable by anyone else except the few that adhear to every move made by them.

It literally states in your rules that multiple alliances are not allowed to gang up and dictate the entire server in bully pack behavior.

Literally sending a message stating we have to keep your alliance small to badge alt alliances is a direct violation of your own rules but you allow it. Players on these servers are being bullies, harassed and are leaving this game in a massive exit of players. This game once ruled with respect and dignity now ruled with bigotry and bully behavior.

I say this on behalf of the gamers out here just trying to have fun. The tight nit group of bully pack players, ea is your cash cow but at the end of the day has ruined this game. A pay to win game.

On WCS we all witnessed the scrutinizing behavior of top alliances. Now the game has been effectively eneded for anyone who is not affiliated with this heavy funded cash cow.

I stand up and say this. This is a game. There is no room for bully behavior and abuse of players. I've witnessed clear bigotry time and time again.

It's time a player stand up and say something on forums about the behavior of alliances in this game. This is a war game yet folks treat it as a platform to be complete douchebags. I've played this game since 2017 and I for one am astonished about the systemic bullying of gamers and toxic behavior.

  • @Huffman931 You should have tried playing before 2010. You would ev hated it even more.... Bullying, verbal abuse, shaming,...
A lot has changed since the early days. And a lot less is tolerated.

As for funding alliances? The funders get to the center first, it's just the way of things. Everyone else has to play a lot longer to reach the same goal.
If more people actually played together to stay in the game long term there would be more satisfaction.

  • @Huffman931 As you state, this is a war game. In war these things happen and you've only got to look to the real world to see it. The biggest teams (countries) win eventually if they're prepared to pay the price of victory.

Teams made up of multiple alliances aren't new and controlling who is 2nd, 3rd and even down to 10th is not unusual behaviour. There have been multiple complaints over the years, but very little in the way of suggestions of how to effectively combat the poor bullying behaviour of the few that would prevent it.

Do you have a suggestion to the problem you see? Stopping alliances being in the centre after fort kill won't work, they'd just surround the centre up-to where they're allowed and prevent others getting to the centre.

    Do you have viable suggestions?

    If you notice,

The top alliances control the push but they also control the narrative.

But a player can define their own narrative and form a strategy that makes sense.

It's the first step to imagining a push.

  • @Huffman931Capping funding is an option.
What I think will happen as this, the max funders will still turn on the others but more readily since they won't be able to attack forward.
    And.
The lower funders will also be looking for strategic advantages ahead of them so wars will be constant.
Diplomacy will be a huge factor. But the big funders have hundreds of members in wing alliances....
