Not reporting on the WCS is like not sending cameras to the World cup. We should be kept up to date on the news like in previous WCS servers.

You purposefully came with two to the WSC, you yourself wrote that you never use alts. Perhaps you didn't help the main account as it lost its meaning at the start of the server. You can have a hundred badges. This does not change the essence of such as you, in principle, have forgotten how to play using one account. Because of this, the game is so online. Again, this is not your fault, this is the fault of the developers. The main server of the year, having 5000 slots, could not even collect 1700 players. This shows that there is something wrong with the game because the players don't want to play it.

The issue is not the WSC, but the fact that the game is broken. And developers don't want or can't fix it. Hence, the meaning of playing is lost, since everyone understands that if you play honestly, you will lose. The project only created a precedent that finally killed the balance in this game. And if the developers think that all this will resolve itself, then this is their mistake. The issue has been discussed on the forum for a long time, but no one from the developers has said a word about how they will solve this problem. Based on their silence, one can understand that there is no problem for them. They will launch another boring world with morality and for them this is the solution to the problem.

@Pad, your point is very moot. I'm going to refrain from calling names like the other thread so this one doesn't get close. I suggest you do the same and calm down with calling people noobs; since you ain't any better. That out of the way, I'm going to address your specific point from your latest posts.

In 2019, Schaffa approached the devs and had a private meeting to discuss the alt abuse issue that was plaguing this game, more specifically Tib37 where Schaffa was beaten by your so-called alt-abusers. Tib37 was notoriously known as a server where alt abuse was evident (so they say)--which prompted the aforementioned meeting with Schaffa and Devs to take place in order to find a solution; hence, patch 19.2.
This is widely documented in old forums. If you do a search you should still find those threads. Now, everyone who participated in WCS 2019 tested patch 19.2 on the last server before WCS 2019 started. Schaffa was there and won that server but gave it up to focus on WCS. This was good practice for them to understand the new mechanics where so many other teams failed to understand. Also worth noting that during those private meetings, it is speculated and widely believe that Schaffa had an edge due to internal and private discussions of game mechanics. I'm not going to make accusations here but we saw.

My whole point being is, to the Devs defense, they have worked with the community--patch 19.2 was a prime example and was actually from many suggestions of players (including the private meetings) prior to WCS 2019. Again, search the threads and you might find some of those suggestions (or maybe you have them on your notes since your team was the other party in those private meetings). So don't say the Devs haven't done anything at all.

You seem to only be mad now because you guys didn't have what it takes (without your complete team) to compete in this recent WCS--making excuses like too much alts lol and so on and so on. Well that didn't stop you guys from entering WCS 2019 (somewhat of the same mechanics and all), did it? Is it because outside of schaffa, more players now understand the mechanics after patch 19.2? Or is it because Schaffa was scared because they knew Project had a complete team that is a formidable foe and can dethroned them?

Like another player said, easy to make excuses by calling us cheaters and you won't play (well, actually some of you guys tried to play) because of such and then say that it wasn't a WCS win because no competition. That is just laughable.

I'm gonna admit, WCS 2021 is boring AF but we showed up and your team didn't because quite simply, you guys were just scared too to show the world that a new champ was inevitable so instead you took the easy way out.

So please stop making excuses, you guys didn't show up period. That's the end of it.

Now as for me using alt, yes I use them after Tib 32 since it does make it easier when starting off as NOD. I have one in WCS right now (GDI) where I used it in the beginning to help me kill harder bases that I couldn't kill otherwise. Kind of like a having two players of two different factions tag-team base.

Can I play without it in a new world? Sure, I can. All i have to do is wait for cherries like many other do that are easy for NOD and strike. And if that doesn't pan out, then wait till team gets higher POIs to make it easier to kill a base. My point is there is definitely many work arounds to playing this game and staying competitive without the use of alts.

@Pad, all good mate. Minor offenses. Apologies all the same. I just get worked up when people start name calling. Anyway, I agree with you to some extent that this game is broken. But let's not attribute all of it to alt abuse. There are other areas that are well known imbalances and likely can be improve upon. Will they? Well that all depends on the resources I guess.

I'll be honest and say I hated the devs after learning about the private meeting and bashed them for it publicly but that's water under the bridge and things moved on just like how it will be after this current WCS. I'm in IT appdev so i can understand the frustration the Devs have and also as a customer of this game I can understand the frustration clients/customers have. Can theydo better job? Sure. Always room for improvement and that's what we're all hoping to see for our beloved game.

Now as for "Project" team setting precedence and killing the game's fun and competition. No, they did not solely do it. It was slowly getting there. To their defense, their formula is nothing new. Mara did it for quite some time; hence, where they recruited top players from good teams (KoN/Trick, DragonClaws, etc). Schaffa did it also, and so did the top teams like AB, IW and so on. Sh1t, i remember going up against some of these teams and was always losing and was demoralizing. Then again i'm a supernoob so it's my destiny to lose :wink:

Now as for players not wanting to play because of this, that's really on them. I continued to play even though I know the opposing teams are stacked. It's all part of learning. We take our chances, just like WCS 2019. We knew we didn't have a complete team and the "Coalition" (the teams who were against Schaffa) wasn't organize--too many chiefs not enough indians. But we still played. We loss sure but we kept going and playing thereafter. Lessons learned. Just like how it will be when "Project" is gone. Just like how it was when Mara stopped, new team emerge and the cycle repeats.

My last thoughts on "Project" that i'd like to get cleared up, I would say 80% of Project members do not abuse alts for prehitting as many thinks. I would even go far saying 90% since the 10% uses alts only to help in the beginning. Some of these players are really just good players. Some are decent and some are cherry pickers. lol. Well, we all have those. Project was born after WCS 2019 and was a culmination of years of hard work by good leadership (which the Coalition lacked). I did not start for first year and a half with them because I left the game but can honestly say these last 2 servers, I have seen vast improvement from what we wanted the Coalition to be. So Kudos to Bruell & team to be able to bring all the top international players together.

Lastly, do I vote for banning alt use altogether for the sake of keeping this game alive and fun? Absolutely, YES.

Unfortunately you´re right. By reading all the comments from EE_Elephterion about changes to the game everybody should have realized that nothing important will happen. There will be some small changes (new worlds with different settings or something like that) but they will not sort out the problems of alts + pvp + high costs for funds et cetera. So lets stop thinking about a better future for that game. It will not happen. And you know what - there are similar games where you have to spend only 30-50 Euro for thousands of hours fun ;)

I think you are both right in that no major changes to the game will be released, not just in the next 6 months but I'd say in the next decade and beyond!

Yes, changes will happen, as mentioned, such as different settings for the worlds but they won't be addressing the problem of alts+pvp. As for the cost of funds I think that is beyond the scope of the developers and down to EA.

If you enjoy the other games where you can spend 30-50 Euro for a lot of fun then I suggest that is what you do. I enjoy this game and very few others and I think the majority of players probably are the same. Only a few come on here and complain about anything (considering even with alts worlds have had 1000's of players online) and simply accept it the way it is. Not everyone wishes to have 1st place badges or even 10th place badges, but come online to the worlds for the comradeship that the game provides, even when not in a winning alliance.

ok bro relax you can clearly see the names in the top 4 alliances in all of the newest servers are all the same people that play together, they all work together and have played together for years. nothing will change that and it doesnt matter what type or how many servers the start it will not change. dont piss off project either cause my accounts are getting hacked and my phone is receiving mass amounts of spoof calls because of our old friend there, my fault for believing they were my friend and giving them my number to text me. this community is toxic as hell and there is no such thing as a fair playing environment left here, no new server will be any different from here on out.

pretty sure they have good new year´s resolutions. They will open 2-3 more worlds with different settings at the same time.
