Yes, it seems the language is set in two places. It is set in the calling url but also within the game. If it is set to some languages then it doesn't allow you into the game. I've been able to reproduce this by changing the default language to Dutch within the game. The calling url didn't change.
As it has been reproduced it should be possible to track it down. The getPreDefaultLanguageCode mustn't be called for English.
